the venue

Baha Mar

All events take place here! We have a discounted room block at the Grand Hyatt 3 days before the wedding weekend and 3 days after. The link is below.

Rates for Friday through Wednesday (May 8-13) start at $389 including resort fees, but not taxes. The resort fee includes use of the waterpark. The rate is a little higher Tuesday-Thursday (May 6-7) due to a business conference, so if you want to stay at the resort longer than the weekend, it’s more economical to stay after the wedding.

Booking tip: the West Tower of the Grand Hyatt is closest to all the weekend events if you want to save some steps! When you book your room, just request a West Tower room if it's available under "special requests" on the booking form.

The beachfront resort features three hotels, eight pools, water sports, a unique wildlife sanctuary, and a full-service spa. Golf at Jack Nicklaus’ Royal Blue golf course or test your luck at the casino. At the Baha Bay Waterpark (included in room rate), you can speed down 10 waterslides, float the lazy river, surf the FlowRider or lounge by the lagoon wave pool. There’s also premier shopping and 45 dining outlets.

For anyone who thinks they might have some difficulty walking long distances, motorized scooters are available for rent at the resort.

travel information

getting there

You will need a passport to arrive in the Bahamas. (It needs to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your period of intended stay.)

Please fly into Linden Pindling International Airport (NAS). The fastest way to get to Baha Mar is to taxi which takes 11 minutes and costs $35 - $50.

local transport

Budget Rental Car

Vehicles drive on the left side of the road in the Bahamas, where British rules apply. So it might be easier (and safer!) if you get transportation to the venue.

alternative accommodations

SLS and Rosewood

Both hotels are part of the Baha Mar Resort. If you're feeling extra fancy, they are more upscale than the Grand Hyatt and within walking distance of the weekend events.

what to wear

May weather in the Bahamas is warm and humid with an average high of 85 degrees during the day and a low of 74 degrees at night.

The Baha Mar resort is HUGE. Please wear comfortable, already-worn-in shoes to explore the grounds. If you plan to splash around in the waterpark or pools, bring bathing suits and flip-flops.

The following information will help you pack for the weekend.

FRIDAY

The Welcome Party is on the sand at the restaurant. Plan on footwear for the sand or go barefoot. Either way, come ready to party!

Attire is all-white for this evening event.

Style-wise for women: think evening resort wear. Cute, chic, all-white... a balance of comfort and sophistication. Something you’d wear out to a nice dinner.
For men: linen, collared white shirts and white dress shorts or pants will have you looking sharp and feeling cool.

(No beach coverups or t-shirts, please.)

SATURDAY

The wedding ceremony is inside the chapel and immediately followed by a reception on the lawn.

The dress code is formal. For this, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a summer-formal long cocktail dress or gown. From bright colors, to playful prints or glitzy sequins - think fun, fancy & festive.

South Asian formal wear is also acceptable.

SUNDAY

Brunch is outside on the lawn.

Wear whatever is comfortable, especially if you're headed to the airport. Elastic waistbands are totally acceptable, and even potentially necessary.

Kindly RSVP before March 1, 2026.

Register each guest separately on the form below.
For children under 12, please choose a kid food option.
